Sports medicine is at the heart of Dr. Sassano's many years of family practice. An involved Akron native, he serves as an affiliate physician for several area high schools, ringside doctor for the Tough Man competition, and was an affiliate physician for the Boston Marathon.

Dr. Sassano was awarded a fellowship by the American College of Osteopathic Sports Medicine and is Board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Sassano enjoys time with his wife and two sons and is an accomplished golfer.
