This injection will give you up to 6 months of pain relief in your knee.  If these injections relieve pain, then this is a much better option than more invasive procedures such as knee surgery.

  • What are the side effects?
Since the injection is directly injected to the joint space instead of into the bloodstream, it causes fewer side effects.  Side effects are rare, but you may see pain, swelling, and fluid buildup around the knee.
